I hate school but I know it's important for the future?

I love English, music, social sciences and philosophy but I cannot stand science like chemistry and biology and math. I HATe these subjects with a passion and do not plan on using them in the future. It's really bringing my grade average down because no matter how hard I try I cannot get a good mark in them and people place so much emphasis on these two subjects. I am almost failing these classes and I am forced to take it throughout the rest of high school (i'm in grade ten now). I will pass for sure, but what can I do to help me keep up my grades? I just can;t memorize information, I suck at it. I don't see the point in doing that anyways, memorizing and regurgitating facts doesn't make you smart..
