Dog ate Chocolate chip cookie dough?

Min Pin got into trash and ate quite a bit of out of date choco chip cookie dough. its stomach is swollen and hard and it is regurgitating brown (prolly cuz of dough) very viscous vomit. will he be ok or is a vet trip needed?
