I accidentally fed my children the expensive macadamia nuts, rather than the cheapy peanuts...?

...but now they refuse to give them back, and they're acting like they can't regurgitate them in perfect and edible form. I'm really pissed, because this is obviously not my fault...any ideas as to how I might go about getting my thirty dollar nuts back...?
