My figure eight puffer ate blood worms about an hour ago and just "threw up" the meal. Normal?

Bought a 1.5" figure eight puffer fish today. I fed him about an hour ago and gave him bloodworms. Checked on them and he "threw up" his meal as I looked at him. Is this normal? I've owned these guys before, but I've never had a fish regurgitate a meal so long after ingesting it. Prior to eating his belly was normal looking, not bulging but slim like. The other puffer (same size and bought same day) ate WAY more than he did with no problems. The store has them strictly freshwater so that's what in now, but over time will convert to brackish tank. Suggestions?
