Is this goldfish sick?

Baby goldfish will develop color as they get older. Goldfish are very sloppy eaters, and the spitting out of food is very common. Just be careful that you are not overfeeding. Those sloppy feed habits can foul up the water. They grow very fast and they will quickly outgrow any tank, less than 50 gallons. If this one is in anything smaller, I suggest doing water changes of at least 20% at the very least, once per week.
