Do you think it was innappropriate for my local fox weatherman do make fun of hugh hefner's age? ?

My local channel 12 news weather guy said to the main female anchor "he got to be like 110 right?" And then chuckled with a cheesy smirk. They were talking about his "runaway" bride. LMAO, it reminded me instantly of a Ron burgundy character. Is it just me or is this out of place?
